While I like the concept of the panarama, Photoshop's "Photostitch" is a horrible program to use for this. I suggest shooting RAW to give you the most control of your images, then stitch them yourself. I'd also use a tripod and a lens equivalent to a 50mm on digital. Wide angle lens shots won't line up the way you want them to. Shooting panaramic shots where the sun is in the photo is also VERY challenging! I urge you to keep trying! It's good to see this though and I look forward to your progression. :)

i dont see anything special about the composition on the bottom one and the top one could have potential if you managed to crop it and blend everything together properly.

Although I kind of enjoy the rough panoramic feel, a wonderful program to make panoramas seemless is AutoStitch (google Autostitch and it's the first link) It works beautifully, all you do is tell it which photos to stitch and it does all the work! Hope that helps!

Interesting compositional elements… perhaps you could try moving the bottom panorama up closer to remove most of the white area centre right and overlapping the scenes on the left – that might give a greater feeling of interaction between the two scenes.
Good to see creative use of panoramic stitching – it gives the image a multi layered abstract feel.
